About Mary White

LICENSED IN:
District of Columbia

MARKET/NEIGHBORHOODS SERVED:
Georgetown, Kalorama, Dupont, Woodley and greater Northwest D.C.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
A longtime resident of Georgetown, Mary was one of the first women in Washington, D.C., to establish her own real estate firm. After managing her Georgetown firm for over 30 years, she joined the Georgetown office of Washington Fine properties in 2005, continuing to specialize in premier Properties in the Washington metropolitan area. In July of 2008, Mary sold one of the most expensive homes in the Capital Region for $11.5M.

Prior to becoming a real estate broker, Mary worked in the West Wing of The White House for two administrations and is probably the only broker in the area to have had a Presidential closing in the Blue Room of the White House. She is a specialist in managing and selling estate properties for heirs living both inside and outside the metropolitan area. She has also worked with many foreign delegations headquartered in Washington and has experienced their cultures and hospitalities. This has led Mary to broaden her knowledge and expertise on five different continents.

Her lifelong interest in politics has served her well in her real estate career in the Nation’s Capital. Having grown up and graduated from college in the Mid-West, Mary was always attracted to Washington’s political culture and temperate climate. In addition to working at The White House, she has worked for the Secretary of The Smithsonian and the D.C. office of a major New York law firm before launching her real estate career.

Mary offers her clients a full array of personalized real estate services, from staging to selling to settlement. Given her professional expertise and personal involvement in every detail and decision, many of Mary’s clients utilize her services throughout their lives. Her ability to cultivate and sustain these long-term relationships is one of her greatest strength as a real estate broker.
