Kira is a third-generation Washingtonian, growing up in Chevy Chase, MD, attending high school in Rockville, MD, and now living with her husband and children in Chevy Chase, DC. Being local has contributed to her vast knowledge of every corner of the Montgomery County and DC markets. After graduating from the University of Rochester in 2004, Kira immediately began her career with one of the premier real estate firms in the Capital Region, quickly becoming the #1 Regional Agent and #22 over all among the company’s 13,000+ agents.
Since joining Washington Fine Properties in 2015, Kira has continually increased her annual sales volume year over year, with her most recent 2021 volume exceeding $88,000,000+ in 95 transactions. In 2021 she was ranked #3 Realtor by Transactions and ranked #6 Realtor by Volume by REAL Trends | Tom Ferry, named as one of Washington Business Journal's "40 Under 40" Class of 2021, and consistently ranked by Washingtonian Magazine among the "100 Agents You Want On Your Side" and a "Top Platinum Agent by Production." In 2021 Kira was ranked the #1 Individual Agent at Washington Fine Properties by Sales Volume. Her estimated total career sales volume is $625 Million in more than 729 transactions.
Her business model is based 100% on client referrals, which translates to selling to and for clients in all price ranges from $200,000 to over $7,000,000. She prides herself on personal relationships and communication with her clients/friends, which lead to repeat transactions.
Kira and her husband have been long-time supporters of the Gift of Life Marrow Registry. They suggested donations in lieu of gifts for their wedding in April 2017. Kira and Billy have helped raise over $169,051 to date, which has sponsored and processed 3,550 cheek swab kits. Those kits have helped facilitate 68 bone marrow matches and three transplants (i.e., lives saved)! Kira believes so strongly in charity that as a thank-you for sending her a referral, she makes a donation to the charity of choice of the person referring the new client.
