Anne and her partner Nate Guggenheim are consistently ranked among "America's Best Real Estate Agents" by Real Trends in the team category for both volume and number of transactions. As a first-time seller at a down time in the real estate market, I had very little idea of what to expect. When it came time for contract negotiations, Anne and Nate provided me with excellent advice in a difficult and potentially sticky situation. At a time of great stress, I felt extremely lucky to have two such strong advocates working for me. In finalizing all the detail work involved in closing the deal and completing the contracts, they were very helpful and always on top of all closing requirements.
My apartment sold quickly and for a great deal more money than I expected, and I owe this completely to the amazing job done by Anne and Nate. I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

In finding our current co-op, you were wise in showing us other units in the building early in the process to show us what a fine building it is. We were not interested in the one bedroom that we initially saw but knew we could live in this building. When the two-bedroom place came on the market, you coordinated to get us in to see it during the open house and also afterwards, so that we could investigate the property without any distractions.
Since our current home is a condo, we had a lot to learn. You were patient in explaining the ownership differences, the cooperative fees and how they differ from condo fees, and underlying mortgages and what impact they have on the price and value of the property. We understand now why a co-op is the best form of ownership for us.
All this was particularly interesting to us as a few months later when my father was interested in selling our grad school apartment, which was a co-op as well. As we were not involved in that purchase, co-ops were not familiar to us, but since working with you to find our current co-op, we knew you were the one to help us sell the other one. I can't believe you did it! Thank you so much for getting my house sold so quickly and for so much money.
As you know, the house languished on the market for 6 months with another agent with no offers and no real prospects. I was at my wit's end! And all those open houses to no avail. I think I saw every movie there was from March to July of 2007 just to be out of the house every Sunday.
Then you came along and changed everything. You were good to warn me about all my furniture being moved, hidden or tucked out of sight. But the place looked so good when you were done that even I wanted to buy it. I never believed that staging made such a difference, but even my own furniture moved around changed the whole look of the place.
Your candor in addressing the proper pricing of the house was most helpful. Until we met, I did not have a good understanding of the market in my area and reasonable expectations for the sale of my home. What amazed me even more is that you got the house sold in 2 weeks for even more money that I ever thought we could get. You are truly amazing.

We are writing to commend two of your agents on the stellar job that they did to sell our home this November. We listed our house with another agent in September/October and it did not sell, and we were quite disappointed. Anne Savage and Nate Guggenheim came and discussed with us why they thought we were unable to sell our house as well as their marketing plan and staging ideas. Unlike our previous agent, they did not just put our house into the MLS and wait for it to sell.
They told us that we needed to give them free reign on the house for three or four days before listing it, during which time they came in, moved all of our furniture, filled our garage with things they thought cluttered the house, and took out our TV (during the Worlds Series—one of us is from Boston). Despite all this, Anne told us it would take 3 weeks to sell the house and Nate said 4. In less than two weeks we had received a rather low offer, but Anne and Nate insisted that we at least play ball with the buyers. They negotiated strongly on our behalf, and we were able to squeeze quite a bit more out of the buyers and to ratify exactly two weeks after we put the house on the market and two days before we closed on our house in El Paso, TX.
It was absolutely the case that Anne and Nate were the driving force that helped us sell our house as quickly as possible for as much as possible. They listed the home for more than we had initially intended to list it and really did right by us. We received lucid advice and first-class service from a team that we feel rank among the best agents in the city. They were worth every cent of a 6-percent listing, and we would not hesitate for a moment to use them again in the future or refer them to our friends.
