Jinny grew up in the heart of central Pennsylvania and moved to the Washington area to be a buyer at Woodward and Lothrop. She later worked in the office for Senator Hugh Scott (PA) until real estate beckoned in 1979.

Jinny and her son, Christopher, as the Wilkes Team of Washington Fine Properties, have worked together since 1996, assisting their clients in all prices ranges in Northern Virginia.
