It looks as if we have finally concluded the sale of 1423 35th Street, NW and resolved the escrow problems. We want to thank WFP for supporting us during this process. We especially are indebted to Liz D’Angio who has been our guide throughout. We were last involved in a real estate transaction 45 years ago, so the past few months have been a new experience.
Besides appreciating her knowledge and professionalism, it was a pleasure interacting with Liz, who seemed more a friend than a business acquaintance. Her advice in the middle of alarmist reports about a real estate market that was cratering was remarkable. She knew exactly how much preparation was needed prior to sale, and arranged for all of it, as we had moved out of town before the work began and before the house was placed on the market. The asking price she recommended was set in a way that gave us an advantage over other similar houses available in Georgetown, and an acceptable offer was received within a week.
We had formed a positive opinion about WFP from seeing the company around Georgetown, but the actual experience exceeded that impression by an order of magnitude. We feel fortunate in having had Liz represent us in the sale of our house.
Thank you,
We wanted to sell our house on a short timeline, and Liz was instrumental in accomplishing this. Throughout the process, she maintained constant communication and was super-responsive to any questions that popped up. As a mother of young kids in the neighborhood, Liz was undoubtedly able to sell prospective buyers on the great community. There may have even been a strategically placed lemonade stand during the open houses. In the end, we were able to sell our house even faster than our already-tight timeline and at a price at the very high end of our expectations. We could not be happier with the entire experience.
Preparing, positioning, and selling a house in from the other side of the country is trying during the best of times, let alone in the midst of a pandemic.
After disappointing service and responsiveness with another high-end brokerage (and a busted contract), I worried I had set too high of a bar when it came to expectations for Liz, Maria, and Nancy. Those fears were completely unfounded. Liz, Maria, and Nancy not only cleared my hurdle, they stepped right over it: under contract, full ask, within week of listing. Absolutely incredible.
Yes, there are a plethora of agents and brokers who compete on commission, “nationwide reach,” “prospective buyer lists,” et cetera—it’s all noise, as I unfortunately needed to discover for myself. Selling your home? Get the outcome you desire, the first time: hire Liz.
We had a phenomenal experience with Liz. She was incredibly friendly and made what can be an intimidating process easy for us. We felt comfortable with her and really valued her insights on the homes we saw as well as the neighborhoods. When it came down to making an offer, we found Liz to be professional and efficient, which are important traits for us.
Thanks all,
Liz was such an encouraging and unflappable guide during the whole purchase process that we almost want to start collecting more condos!

Thanks all,
We are writing to say thank you for shepherding us through our compressed buying, selling, and moving process. Our high-speed (to us, lol) undertaking could easily have been overwhelming, but your care and professionalism made sure that was not the case. We very much appreciate all you did to get us from Point A to Point B.
Wishing you all the best,
We worked with Liz D’Angio and found her to be exactly what you hope to find in a real estate agent. She was very knowledgeable about the market, the potential buyers for our property, as well as appropriate pricing. She was very responsive, spot-on about how best to stage the home, and handled every issue that came up in a calm and professional manner. I would highly recommend Liz to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in Georgetown.
All our best,
