I can't say enough about this team. Meg and Alison helped me sell my rental townhouse in Potomac. I don't live in Maryland any longer, so I was unable to be present for most of the challenging tasks that arise in the process of getting a house ready to put on the market and sell it. They were professional at every step along the way and always kept me informed. When necessary, they provided excellent advice with the benefit of their many years of experience. I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking to sell a home.
Working with Meg and Alison made my buying and selling process feel effortless and smooth. They quickly familiarized themselves with the neighborhood I was interested in and when we eventually found that perfect place for me, they prepared me so that I could compete, if needed, with multiple offers. Because of their foresight, I did indeed get the property I dreamed of. From then on, they answered my calls immediately, kept me informed every step of the way, had a wonderful designer, Barbara, stage my home to sell, and I had a contract in a week. Now I am living happily ever after.
Meg and Alison are the consummate professional team. They invest time in getting to know their clients and certainly understood our priorities when we decided to sell our home. We were expecting to be overwhelmed with getting our house on the market. However, Meg and Alison took great care in walking us through the process and assisting with all the details. Meg and Alison’s years of experience and overall knowledge of the Potomac/Rockville market resulted in getting a contract on our house within a couple of days at list price! Their entire team was a pleasure to work with, and we give them our highest recommendation.
Meg Percesepe and Alison Shutt lead a highly professional, very efficient team and are a pleasure to work with. The sale of our house in Bannockburn Estates, Bethesda, was very fast (55 days from the signing of the Listing Agreement to Settlement) and everything ran smoothly during the entire process. One of their many strengths is their ability to provide connections to excellent outside help (a contractor for home repairs, a firm that gives advice on donations of furniture and removes unwanted items, specific instructions for arrangements to discontinue utilities service, etc.). An outstanding performance.
Meg and Alison are the dream team. Our home sale and closing was flawless. They are consummate professionals. Meg and Alison are extremely knowledgeable on the local market. They are honest, hardworking, and reliable. You won't be disappointed!
Meg and Alison exceeded our high expectations in listing our home, and we highly recommend them. They entered a less than desirable situation in which the house had already been listed for a year with another agent, had gone to contract but not closing, and was in a slow market for upper bracket homes. With the Meg/Alison team, we received a contract and closed within three months. The combination of their professionalism (punctuality, command of process and market, effective communication, candor, etc.), positive attitudes, and geniality brought the listing/sale to a smooth and successful close.
They did a first rate job from start to finish. They provided sound advice and responded quickly to our needs. We have already recommended them to a friend.
We recently purchased a home and we are so grateful to Meg and Alison for all of their help. They are responsive, quickly picked up on which items were most important to us (so they were able to perfectly tailor their lists of suggested homes for us), always available whenever we wanted to tour a house, offered sage advice, and helped us through every aspect of the purchase (including post-sale matters like recommending great contractors). I have already recommended Meg and Alison to many of my friends, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone thinking of buying or selling a home.
Meg and Alison are professional, organized and delightful to be with. We bought and sold homes with Meg and Alison, and both experiences were very successful.
Meg and Alison are the definition of amazing teamwork. They helped me with selling my Mom's home and then purchasing my first home. They are extremely knowledgeable about the market and what they are doing. As a seller, there are things you don't necessarily want (but need) to hear about the property you are selling; throughout the process Meg and Alison handled these times with the perfect balance of sensitivity and assertiveness. During the house-hunting process for my new home, I was sure I was driving them crazy as I struggled to figure out what I was looking for and where I was hoping to find it. Having champagne taste while looking for a home on a budget was quite frustrating for me. Sure enough, with not even two months before settlement on the property we were selling, they found exactly what I was looking for, even though I wasn't entirely sure what I was searching for. Meg and Alison were both readily available to answer any questions I had throughout the process, and they had Kit behind the scenes in their office who is also a godsend, she made sure I had all the necessary resources and important dates relevant to our contracts so that everything went off without a hitch. When it came down to negotiating with both the sale and the purchase, Meg and Alison are a force to be reckoned with. The buyers for our property ran into a hiccup with their loan, which could have caused some MAJOR inconveniences and delays, but not when you have the Meg and Alison Team on your side! Best Decision Ever.
Meg and Alison are a terrific team. They are exactly what we were looking for in a realtor — integrity, honesty, courtesy, professionalism and firm but gentle suggestions. They were simply amazing at every step in the sales process from preparing the home to staging to presentation — always ready to provide additional advice and help. Our house sold in a few days for over asking price. Meg and Alison stuck with us through the contract and closing process — no request was too much for them. IF you want the very best team to guide you through this process you could not do better than Meg and Alison. They are outstanding!
Meg and Alison are a professional team. They’re knowledgeable, responsive and resourceful. If you are looking for full-service agents to help you sell your house, then I’d recommend them. They understand the ins and outs of real estate transactions, which is important because challenges can and do arise. They hired a great stager to help us de-clutter and they were able to recommend a painter who painted a few rooms quickly and well. And most importantly, they tapped into their network and found us a qualified buyer.
Meg and Allison, and their entire team, were fabulous to work with from start to finish. They are highly knowledgeable regarding the area, worked with us in advance of listing our home to ensure we put our best foot forward (including staging), and worked to get us the best possible offer. They assisted us in finding a rental property, and when we are ready to purchase again, we will use them for that transaction as well. We would recommend them without reservation for all real estate needs.
We had a great experience with Meg and Alison during our house search. First, they know the Potomac area better than any other realtors out there and were able to get us access to listings before they hit the market. Additionally, they are so knowledgeable about the market, which they demonstrated by providing us with expert guidance as we bought (and won) our house in a very competitive market. Finally, they taught us so much about houses and real estate in general as we purchased our first real home, and their advice and recommendations have continued even past closing. They have been so kind to us and even volunteered to help handle our toddler during a long day of house-hunting when we were unable to find a sitter. I highly recommend Meg and Alison, and am confident that if you use them, you will not be disappointed!
We initially asked to talk to Meg and Alison about the sale of our house because they had sold the identical house across the street, but we didn’t really know what to expect. From the initial walk-through of our house and their subsequent presentation, however, we were impressed by their knowledge of the market, attention to detail, and cordiality. This favorable impression was only reinforced by their work after we signed a private listing agreement. They were astute in recommending a price and thoughtful about cost-effective improvements to enhance marketability. The staging services they arranged were first-rate. When we got an offer, they handled all aspects of the negotiation skillfully, especially the all-important negotiation after the home inspection. Throughout, they answered our questions quickly and helpfully. We were so impressed by their professionalism (and the flawless support work at the Potomac office of Washington Fine Properties) that, although we had intended to use a discount buyer’s agent for our purchase of a condominium, we instead engaged Meg and Alison for that too, and our experience was the same: excellence in every aspect of the transaction. In sum, we highly recommend the Meg and Alison Team.
With more 16 moves in our family's history, we have seen a little bit of everything that the real estate market has to offer. Meg and Alison provided a truly exceptional experience, with a marketing approach that brought us a contract our first day on the market and a closing in less than 30 days. They were responsive, informed and really have their finger on the pulse of our complicated Montgomery County market. From great staging and exceptional photography to even providing a weekend assist when we accidentally locked ourselves out of our house, we felt like we have just experienced the best of what the real estate profession has to offer. While my family's next adventure will take us out of the DC area, I will always be ready to provide a glowing recommendation of their excellent work.
I had a very positive experience working with Meg and Allison during the process of selling my house. They are very professional and knowledgeable and responded quickly to all my inquiries. Additionally, they were able to recommend various contractors, and the photographer they used took fabulous pictures. My house listed on a Friday, and by the following Tuesday, we had a signed contract for the asking price. It was a pleasure working with both Alison and Meg, and I would definitely recommend them.
Alison & Meg were fantastic throughout the entire process — from my first visit to see the house through the offer submission/acceptance process, through financial close. They have deep knowledge of the area that I bought into, the real estate market, and the financing process. They were quick to find solutions to issues that inevitably arose. They kept the process moving quickly and were always well-poised and highly professional. They helped make it as effortless as possible for me. I wholeheartedly recommend them both!
We have engaged Meg and Alison in two separate home sales. The first was (2013,) selling my parents home, a very unique property, 19,000 square feet that other realtors said would take at least a year to sell and would be difficult pricewise. Meg and Alison took on the engagement and sold it in less than 90 days for $250,000 more than others would even put it on the market. Most recently (June 2017) they sold our Maryland home the second day it was on multiple listing and for more than the asking price. Meg and Alison are professionals, experts in the local market and creative in how they market your home to maximize the exposure to potential buyers. They are there throughout the sales process to make sure there is a smooth and successful transaction. I would not hesitate in recommending "The Meg and Alison Team" — they get the job done fast and with an eye towards maximizing your sales price.
We selected Meg and Alison to manage the sale of our house based on their great reputations and on their demonstrated success in our neighborhood. Even given the above, we were blown away by how fantastic they were. From initial consultation, through staging, marketing, and contract selection, all the way to closing, Meg, Alison, and their fantastic team of experts (with special mention of Kit Lunceford as their operations officer) performed with skill, nuance, and subtle flair. Their marketing and pricing recommendations directly led to the house going under contract within three days with multiple offers well above list price. We strongly recommend that you trust and cherish this team.
As first-time home buyers, we did not know anything. Alison took a great amount of time over a few months showing us houses, educating us each visit on various things for which to look and keeping us up-to-date on the current market. She updated us weekly on new listings and was always available to answer any questions we had. She was there at every step in the closing process and continues to be a resource with her vast number of contacts. Alison is endlessly knowledgeable, and I can't imagine having a better home-buying experience.
We had the good fortune to work with Meg and Alison to sell a home and we could not be happier about our choice to have them represent us. To say they are masterful is an understatement. It quickly became clear that we were in remarkable hands throughout the selling process.
What wowed us? 1. They listen. During the first steps in preparing the house for sale they were keen listeners when it came to what we were willing to do—and not do—to prep the home. They worked with us to suggest high-impact changes, and some of those came at a minimal cost. Their advice was spot-on. 2. Their timing. Setting a terrific date to list our home and hold an open house made all the difference. We had one contract hours into the listing and 5 in total to review in just a few short days. 3. They educated us. We did not pick a price for our listing randomly. TOGETHER they showed us comps, and we compared home for home—time-of-year sold and valuable differences. We knew we were making an informed decision when we set the cost and we felt in control of this important stage. 4. They are compassionate. Selling this family home was emotional for us—and they navigated this with care and heart. 5. Their team. Their office manager Kit was incredible—willing to pick up a plant, light bulb or anything we needed that popped up. She made closing out utilities easier by giving us phone numbers as well as other to-dos that could have held up closing if not done. She is a valued member of their team, and together they have great synergy. Tim, their stager (which is part of their service and not an added fee) has clean, elegant taste and a very talented eye. He made our home look like a model home, and it presented fantastically because of him. He even helped us pick paint colors for our painter—and boy was he right about how it would look! 6. They know their stuff. Meg and Alison are so knowledgeable about the market, comps, timing, presentation and—and this is a big one—negotiations. They understand the art of this critical part of the process. 7. Communication. I was continually amazed at the high level of communication—and class—of this team. Calls were returned quickly with desired information—texts answered and emails replied to. They were so accessible and so responsive. Honestly I don't think they could have been more responsive if we had been family! From start to finish—we were taken care of like family.
Meg and Alison are a great team. They are very experienced, knowledgeable and responsive, but these are things that one would expect from a team with their many years of experience. What really sets them apart are the qualities that you don't necessarily find on a resume. The transaction they helped me with was more complicated than most, and we all knew that from the start. What I didn't anticipate is how consistently calm, supportive and genuinely kind they both would be. They are not just smart, they're savvy; they're not just ready, they're one step ahead of the game, and they always show up when you need them. If you want your real estate deal to be as pleasant and efficient as possible, choose Meg and Alison. When the going gets tough, you'll be so glad you did.
Have worked with Alison and Meg on three occasions and always enjoy the experience. They are both excellent. They found two homes and sold one for me.
We interviewed several brokers, including some who had extensive experience in our area. From the time we began working with Meg and Alison they demonstrated their fine judgement in every major aspect of the preparation for and sale of our home. We had not anticipated the level of complexity we faced with moving across the country and had to vacate our Maryland home in order to take possession of our new home in California. They worked as a team and were professional, extremely thorough, and receptive to our needs and the steps needed to successful market our house. Ultimately their negotiating skills were put to the test, and they knew how to advance from the marketing to the contract process with exceptional ability. In addition, we had a remote closing, and they were confronted with unanticipated complications that they faced and handled beautifully. We cannot commend them highly enough; they were a pleasure to deal with and were exceptionally able. We were very pleased with the outcome.
Meg and Alison are pros — after working with them we also consider them friends. They know the market, were helpful and supportive — we highly recommend them. They are both pleasant, responsive and knowledgeable — they assist in making an emotional experience, doable, and they also have names of people to stage, fix up and do whatever is needed to get you through the sales process. Top notch.
Meg and Alison of WFP went above and beyond. We used them both for the sale of our home as well as purchasing our new home. They always made us feel like we were their only clients and were always immediately responsive and available. No stone was left unturned throughout the whole process. Selling and buying a house can be stressful, and we always felt we were in capable hands and were completely confident that everything would be taken care of with no issues. We would recommend them without hesitation.
We recently asked Meg and Alison to help us buy a house we had already found! Having them as realtors some years ago spoiled us for anyone else. They thought of everything and ended up selling our house at a depressed house-selling time for over a million dollars!
The house we wanted was brand-new. They arranged for their home inspector to look at the home, and he came up with a list of repairs that surprised us. We had not seen any of the boo-boos. On top of the needed repairs before we bought, he made us feel so comfortable in our decision by pointing out all the good qualities. With Meg accompanying him throughout this examination, we felt so comfortable that we were making a good decision.
At least one of them stuck with us throughout all the paper signing and often questioned the realtor to be sure we were well taken care of. I cannot express how valuable their expertise was to us. We felt so comfortable throughout the process. We now are in our brand-new home and know that we made the right decision. Being somewhat elderly, it was wonderful to once again have someone else take care of us. I cannot tell you how expert the two of them are!
My husband and I interviewed Meg Percesepe and Alison Shutt of Washington Fine Properties and felt very comfortable hiring them as our listing agents for the sale of our house in Spring 2016. We chose Meg and Alison based on their professionalism, sincerity, experience and their very successful history as realtors in Potomac and the surrounding areas. We have no regrets. Meg and Alison’s market analysis was honest and accurate. They gave us good suggestions on making minor improvements and decluttering our house. They used a first-class stager and photographer to show the quality of our house. We received a contract within 24 hours after our first open house. Once the home inspection was complete, Meg and Alison continued to guide us through the rest of the process until closing. They were always available to answer our questions and are true experts in every aspect of the home-selling business. Meg and Alison provided outstanding service from start to finish. We highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an experienced and pleasant-to-work-with agent.
Meg and Alison were very helpful in assessing value of home and suggesting improvements to increase sale price and likelihood of a quick sale. My home sold the first day it was shown for above asking price. They were very supportive during this process.
I'd been looking on and off for a new house for many months when I met Meg and Alison at an open house and was impressed by their overall quality. I contacted them afterward, and it was the best decision I made. At our first meeting they proved to be experts, and great to work with. In the first listings they showed us, we found the house we loved near Potomac and were ready buy. Meg and Alison guided us through the entire process: initial walk-through, valuation, offer price, home inspection, and, in our case, detailed negotiations, ensuring the seller made necessary fixes and with money back to us. Further and equally amazing, Meg and Alison referred us to a mortgage lender who, while involving many details from the lender, resulted in the best and lowest 30-year fixed rate you can imagine. Meg and Alison saw us through closing, and we now have a splendid home, in a great deal. As a Seller, Meg and Alison then helped me sell my previous property. They recommended specific upgrades, which cost some money up front, but once again they proved right. They knew the market, they knew the quality needed to show, and the best asking price. So that on the first day of listing, even before the open house, we had one offer, and at the open house we had two offers. As a result, the property sold immediately and for slightly above the asking price. I cannot recommend Meg and Alison highly enough. They are experts, knowledgeable, professional, friendly and a pleasure to work with. Simply the best.
Meg and Alison were terrific! From our first meeting, they impressed us with their professionalism and expertise. They walked us through their marketing plan and developed an excellent brochure as we got ready to list with them. We received two offers within the first 24 hours, and Meg successfully counseled us to a fully ratified contact before the end of the second day - at a price that exceeded our list price. Leading up to this happy ending, Meg and Alison were always available to us for questions and recommendations. We strongly would recommend Meg and Alison to anyone looking for a successful, hard-working team to sell their home.
We wholeheartedly endorse Meg Percesepe and Alison Shutt. They were so knowledgeable, caring, and persistent in helping us sell my Dad’s home in Damascus. There were more twists, turns, and bumps than we could imagine, and Meg and Alison nimbly guided us and advocated for us the whole time. I called them my “off-road” realtors, because they got us where we needed to go regardless of the obstacles. Plus they were so nice, and fun to work with to boot. I will absolutely recommend them to anyone in the area that needs strong, creative, and timely help in selling their property.
I would highly recommend Meg and Alison who work as a team, with whom I had the good fortune of listing my home in Potomac, MD, in mid-October 2015. I never felt that I had a question that took long to get answered; and being a team – one or the other got back to me very quickly. They had the house staged beautifully, gave me some great ideas to enhance the beauty of the home, without overspending; had a wonderful photographer; held at least 3 open houses; gave me feedback from the open houses, which eventually resulted in two contracts – one being a great back-up, at a time of year where real estate sales are usually very slow. They communicated well with the other agents involved and remained involved right through the sales process. I am happy to speak to any potential home buyer or seller.
I wish the two of them all the best in their business.
Alison and Meg were spectacular at every step of the deal; I highly recommend them for anyone looking to buy or sell their home. They truly know and understand the market and helped guide me throughout the process. Highly recommend!
Meg and Alison were wonderful to work with on selling our contemporary house in Potomac, Maryland. They helped us: set the right asking price; decide what changes should be made to help show the house at its best, and then prepared attractive promotional materials. As a result of their efforts, the house sold within 3 weeks of being listed and went for 98% of the asking price. Since we had already moved out of Maryland, Meg and Alison made certain that all of the pre-closing activities were scheduled and completed on time. In every way Meg and Alison make a great team.
We challenged Meg and Alison with a very aggressive schedule to put the house on the market quickly. Thanks to their advice, great list of contractors and an amazing stager, we made our goal. And it all paid off - the house was under contract within six days (with three other offers). Meg and Alison continued to provide great advice and counsel throughout the process until the transaction was completed. We would highly recommend Meg and Alison for their expertise and friendship to anyone looking to sell or buy.
One showing in March with 2+ feet of snow on the ground. One week until a contract was signed. Contract price was within one percent of our asking price. It can't get any better than that. Meg and Alison know their profession, their neighborhoods and their market. Everything about their efforts was first-class and top-notch. And we were residing almost 800 miles away in Alabama. They made it all so easy for us. I can't thank them enough. This team MUST be on your interview list. You won't need to interview anyone else.
Meg and Alison are top-notch professionals. They know the local market intimately and what the buyers are looking for in curb and interior presentation. They are a great team and work closely with you on timing, pricing, interior/exterior presentation, and all of the complex process issues — documentation, disclosures, negotiations, contract language, and closing. I highly recommend this team to anyone — buying or selling — in Montgomery County!
When getting ready to sell our home in Potomac, we were looking for a professional who was knowledgeable about the Potomac real estate market, vested in the community and easy to work with. The Meg & Alison Team fit our needs perfectly. The depth and breadth of their experience in the Potomac community and with the school system is unsurpassed, and they covered all the bases in getting our house on the market — to include using a professional photographer and stager to enhance the best qualities of our home and ensure that it looked beautiful. They provided great feedback after each showing and guided us until the day of closing. Alison and Meg sold our home quickly and for a great price — a result we were not expecting in a tough market. It was a pleasure working with them!
I just wanted to share with you my experience in working with Meg and Alison on the sale of my own home. Being in the mortgage business for almost 30 years, I work daily with real estate professionals and these two stand out from the crowd. I found them to be a dynamic team who possessed a very strong knowledge of the marketplace and were able to set very realistic expectations for me as a seller. I feel that their temperament made them a pleasure to work with during an extremely stressful time and made the sale of my home a great experience. They were able to obtain a fair price in a short period of time and allowed me to move forward in my life! As I am sure you know, you are fortunate to have them on your team.
All the best,
My December calendar page has a note on Monday, the 29th:
“Closing; 1 PM” That event came and went, a check was deposited in our bank account—and we woke up the following day with a huge sense of peace and the delightful feeling that our retirement had truly begun.
Behind those short words on the calendar lies a much longer story; the principal characters in that story are Meg Percecepe and Alison Shutt.
Over a year ago we asked a good friend, Michael O’Halloran, to visit our home (where he had played as a boy!) and to help us decide its relative worth. Michael’s experience as a property assessor as well as his knowledge of the area gave us confidence that he would be able to help us begin the daunting process of selling our home. Michael agreed with us that the property at 14820 Kelley Farm Drive, with a 250-year-old house, aging pool, rental house, large work shop, barn and pastures, was not going to be easy to sell. It simply isn’t every home buyer’s “cup of tea.” He suggested a price range that would be reasonable in the current market and then immediately suggested that we ask Washington Fine Properties to represent us. He was very clear that we should ask Meg Percecepe and Alison Shutt to handle the sale. He knew of their success in the sale of a home on Esworthy Road which was somewhat comparable as well as knowing their reputation from many previous sales.
Soon enough we met with Alison and Meg and began the very successful adventure of marketing and selling our home of 21 years. Both of my brothers and my father were in sales and so I know a bit of what having the right people for the job can mean. What constantly impressed us about Meg and Alison was that they were always extremely professional while at the same time were personal, caring and thoughtful of us, our family and our needs. Their enthusiasm for our home and its unique qualities came through consistently. There was never a single occasion when anyone came to view the property when either one of them or both were not present. They were with us when Tim (also a superb addition to the team that made this sale happen) came to stage the home, they took excellent care of every Open House event and simply made us feel that they were entirely on our side in preparing this home for the market and making it shine. When we sat down (in shock I might add!) to review not one but three offers, their guidance and advice were invaluable. Meg was with us on that day as Alison was away—but in the ensuing days and the ups and downs of the ever-changing closing date, both were seconds away by phone or email to advise and encourage us. To know that we had experienced professionals to walk us through all the paperwork, the responses to various requests and to prod a slow buyer without being hostile in any way made this adventure truly a remarkable experience.
We owe the fact that our home sold after only seven short months on the market, exactly at our asking price, to these two amazing Realtors. I had originally anticipated two long years or more on the market and that we would eventually sell well below our original asking price. Their response to that expectation was: “If that happens, we aren’t doing our job.” And—they proved their remark to be the absolute truth. They know how to sell a home—and do what it takes to make that happen. I have already recommended Meg and Alison to two acquaintances who have asked me about them and will continue to do so in the future. As an additional blessing in all of this, both my husband and I feel that we have gained two very good friends.
It is with the greatest of pleasure that I write this recommendation for Alison Shutt and Meg Percesepe of Washington Fine Properties for their invaluable knowledge, attention to detail and overall outstanding service. We recently closed on an investment property in Silver Spring, and they were there to guide us through the complete process from the very beginning. They gave us the insight to choose the best location, the experience to find the optimal building, and the abilities to complete the process and allow us to close quickly and with minimal issues. They are an invaluable resource for all things real estate. We have become reliant on their sage advice to get things done and done correctly.
Our relationship with Alison and Meg began when we moved to Maryland from New Jersey and started looking for homes in the area. We were assigned a real estate agent through the relocation company that handled our move. Although this was not Alison or Meg, we met them as they represented the owners of a home we had interest in. Ultimately, we chose to purchase another home in the neighborhood (through no fault of Alison or Meg) but kept in contact with them due to their clear expertise of homes in our community. This was demonstrated by their ability to stage homes to look “perfect” for showings. They know their buyers, and this translates to that “perfect “ setup.” As we started popping in on their listings, sometimes just to say hello, we noticed something in the potential buyers viewing their listings — they were all enamored of the way the homes looked. This seems to explain the multiple offers for most of their listings. That appeal doesn’t come easily as we learned. It comes from careful planning and execution. From landscaping to appliances, they leave no stone unturned, and that translates to offers. We realized that should the need arise, we would definitely want them to represent us and to help us in any real estate needs we had.
That need came when we decided to invest in real estate to improve our cash flow for the impending arrival of our son and the need to offset the loss of some of my wife’s income. Ultimately the search led us to recently closing on a condominium in Silver Spring. Everything about the condominium was what we expected. We are hoping to finalize a lease very soon and we certainly owe the minimal amount of hassle and headache to Alison and Meg.
To say that we appreciate Alison and Meg is certainly an understatement. We trust them. We value their knowledge. We understand their analysis of the situation because of their ability to convey it to us concisely and clearly. Ultimately, what says the most about them is that when we have any real estate needs in the future, we will absolutely turn to them and only Alison and Meg.
I am writing to thank you for your outstanding work in helping us with the sale of our house on Gregerscroft Road. From the beginning and throughout the process, you both were highly professional and responsive. From the advice regarding pricing to the staging of the house for sale, the photographs for the brochure and web tour, the contract negotiations and documentation, and through the closing process, your work was truly excellent. We enjoyed working with you and appreciate the exceptional service.
In the fall of 2013, my husband and I found a house that we wanted to purchase in Annapolis, MD. The contract had a contingency that we needed to have our house on the market within 7 days! We interviewed several agents in the area, but Meg and Alison were the ones we chose. They were the most professional in their approach and had an amazing marketing plan they shared with us on how best to market our property from day one to the closing. They were wonderful in setting up the photo shoot quickly, and they staged the house beautifully. Within three weeks, our house sold, at a price that everyone was happy with. Meg and Alison made it happen for us!
If you are considering using them, please do. They are wonderful to work with and are very professional every step of the way.
In the Spring of 2012 Alison Shutt and Meg Percesepe of Washingon Fine Properties, LLC, sold our home in Potomac, MD, within 30 days of listing and very much within the price requested by the seller. Their suggestions for staging the home and photography were outstanding. With any suggestions came their offer of help with necessary personnel. They both gave generously of time and effort. They worked diligently with the seller and the buyer's agent to see that everyone felt the deal was a win/win. It was a delight to work with both.
My husband and I just sold our home of 26 years. We learned a lot during the eight-month process between making the decision to sell and signing documents at settlement.
When I say, "learned a lot," you might guess that I lean toward the disquieting, "It is not like it used to be." The stress of navigating this surprise world was ameliorated by our agent team of Meg Percesepe and Alison Shutt. Their leadership helped us show our house to its very best advantage; their patient explanations about what to expect helped us understand the vagaries of the real estate market; their periodic detailed presentations helped us understand the decisions we needed to make; and their calm, caring demeanor guided us over emotional times. I would not want to go through this process without them.
Meg and Alison, I thank you for helping us. Professionally, and personally, you are exceptional women.
Dear Mr. Anderson:
My wife and I sold our house of 26 years. We did not think the process would be difficult; put it on the market, someone buys it, and we close.
But the closing process included what seemed to be endless excuses and delays by the lender. We had eight months invested in this sale and the idea we would have to start over was beginning to seem most likely. Numerous disconnected parties, managing an overflow of business, resulted in many contract extensions. The process seemed out of control.
Meg Percesepe and Alison Shutt made it their mission to get our deal closed. Both of these professionals took the extra time and effort to deal with all the outstanding issues while providing
us with sound advice. The end result is that we closed yesterday. I am absolutely certain that without Meg and Alison's professionalism, we would be either still living in a hotel, or starting the long process over again. We thank them both for stepping up.
Formally of Potomac, MD
